  • Chat Messages & Projects: Retained for the lifetime of your account unless you request deletion
  • Payment Records: Retained for 7 years to comply with financial regulations
  • Usage Analytics: Aggregated and anonymized after 12 months
  • Third-Party AI Data: Subject to the retention policies of OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google (typically 30 days)

How to Delete Your Data

You can request deletion of your data at any time:

  • Individual Projects: Delete from your dashboard at any time
  • All Personal Data: Email privacy@intrusivethoughtai.com with subject "Data Deletion Request"
  • Account Closure: Contact support to close your account and delete all associated data

We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Some data may be retained in backups for up to 90 days.

How to Revoke Consent

You can withdraw your consent for data processing at any time:

Stop Using AI Services

Simply stop sending messages or creating projects. Your existing data will remain, but no new data will be processed.

Opt-Out of Analytics

Email privacy@intrusivethoughtai.com with subject "Opt-Out Analytics" to stop collection of usage data.

Unsubscribe from Emails

Click "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of any marketing email, or email privacy@intrusivethoughtai.com.

Full Consent Withdrawal

To completely revoke consent and delete all data, email privacy@intrusivethoughtai.com with subject "Revoke All Consent". We will delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.

Note: Revoking consent may limit or prevent your ability to use certain features of our service.

Third-Party Data Protection Commitment

We only work with third-party providers who commit to protecting your data:

  • OpenAI: SOC 2 Type II certified, GDPR compliant, encrypts data in transit and at rest
  • Anthropic: Enterprise-grade security, GDPR compliant, does not train on customer data
  • Google (Gemini): ISO 27001 certified, GDPR compliant, industry-leading security practices
  • Stripe: PCI DSS Level 1 certified, the highest level of payment security

All third-party providers are contractually required to maintain security standards equal to or exceeding our own. They may only use your data to provide the specific services we request.

Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@intrusivethoughtai.com and we will delete that information immediately.

International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place:
